Gary Lynch 1973 Senior Picture

Gary L. "Curly" Lynch, 54, of Lafayette, died at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Home Hospital.

Born Nov. 22, 1954, in Lafayette, he was the son of Geneva J. Lynch Brummett (husband: Everett) of Williamsport, who survives. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1973.

He married Susan Ives, and they divorced. He then married Joan Jarrard, and they divorced.

Mr. Lynch was a carpenter with Local 215 for 25 years and had owned and operated Curly and Blondie's Hideaway since 2000.

He was a member of Moose Lodge 1529 and enjoyed collecting antiques.

Surviving with his mother are a daughter, Hillary Lynch of Lafayette; a son, Nathan C. Lynch (wife: Lea) of Chicago; two brothers, Steve Lynch (wife: Kathy) of Battle Ground and Roy L. Farris of Lafayette; a sister, Roxanne Myers (husband: Roy) of Crawfordsville; a stepbrother, Everett Brummett Jr. (wife: Tracy) of Springfield, Ohio; and a stepsister, Denise L. Saylor of Hope.

Also surviving is a granddaughter, Alissa M. Baldwin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forest and Eva Lynch.
